PSA: weapon_shotgun.script is based on an old version of the file from pak000 instead of the one from pak006. You need to copy the file from pak006 and change SHOTGUN_RELOADRATE to 1, as it's the only tweak that was made.

Could you help me? I wanted to translate the Venom menu to Polish, however for some reason in some toggle options Polish characters just refuse to appear. Do you know how to fix this? This isn't a font issue; I've checked and it seems to be random.Drive.google.com

I will be brutally honest - I really want to use this, but what pains me are some of the unnecessary changes: Grenades being less bouncy (Highly preferred the original ones bouncing all over the place unpredictably), trites having red blood and ZSec shooting sounds matching the player's sounds. Could we have those changes reverted as an optional thing? I don't have the knowledge needed to revert the changes myself but I really do want to use this, considering original Doom 3 is a pain to play in 2024 due to lack of support for modern resolutions.

Hey, has anyone played this towards the end? Isn't the last fight a bit too difficult on nightmare? I mean there are demons everywhere spawning fast including archviles and revenants... I don't remember the last fight being that hard on vanilla doom.

I can't seem to get The Lost Mission to work at all, the page for it loads but when I start a new game, it tells me it's loading then promptly loads the main menu again.
Everything else worked though for the Base game and Resurrection of Evil, I was able to play through those no problem.

There's a minor issue with the resolution selector with mouse clicks with Enhanced Edition. Normally if you left-click the resolution option in the Video settings it goes forward in options, and then right-clicking the resolution option goes backwards in options. With Enhanced Edition installed, it only goes way forward with left-click for resolution options and does not register anything from right-click even through it works in other option fields.

Something else I noticed is that the Machine Gun for The Lost Mission port does not have the ammo cap adjustments like base Doom 3 does with this mod. In base Doom 3 it caps out at 600 Clip ammo (60 from the Machine Gun + 540 reserve), but in The Lost Mission, it uses the default 660 (60 Machine Gun + 600 reserve).

That would be due to the Super Shotgun. It's actually a vanilla "bug". I consider it a feature. If you play Resurrection of Evil, it has the same thing. Having the Super Shotgun in the inventory or simply available as a weapon in the game increases the ammo pool for all guns actually.

Fixed by whom? This mod doesn't touch that particular bug. And since the bug exists in the vanilla version, it's a bug for a 20 year old game that is no longer updated or maintained in anyway by ID Software. Perhaps the author of this mod could attempt to "fix" it, but as far as it being fixed in any official capacity, don't count on it.
