November 12, 2020This is the first book I read from this author and let me tell you that I loved it! Such a good book with great characters that keeps you obsessed with every page since the first one. The ending of this book.. come on! I just didn´t expect it! Can´t wait to read other books from this great writer! Amazing job! a must-read!. A fantastic book that has it all!
I happily endorse this story to any who is looking for an enjoyable read and a completely different experience than anyone could imagine on their own. I would recommend this for those who like a mystery with a smattering of paranormal It has everything you can imagine: romance, adventure, mystery, and mayhem all rolled into one spectacular book! I really enjoyed Black Moon Rising by Ann Simas. I highly recommend Ann Simas books. I can't wait to read more from this author.

February 14, 2021I really enjoyed this book! The heroine although has some physical limitations is still a bad ass who loves deeply, loyally and fiercely both her children, family, and "her man". I love that Ms Simas brings just a touch of the paranormal into this book. I will definitely recommend this book and I will find and read more of her books!

January 26, 2019I was lucky enough to win a copy of this book in a Christmas competition with TBC.Easy to read with a brilliant protagonist who has just begun to see visions of what happens to her in the future, the writing is apace with lots of interest. My only criticism would be that it all got a bit far-fetched as the story unfolded, however, I would still recommend this for those who like a mystery with a smattering of paranormal, a few sexy encounters and a 'reading escape'.

March 20, 2017This was holy wow.. lol.. The characters are engaging and complicated.. There is enough thriller in this to keep me on the edge of my seat and wondering what would be next.. The writing made me become involved in their lives... I became who they are and who they became. It was a very interesting and wonderfully written story and im glad i got to review it

March 21, 2017Black Moon Rising is a gripping tale of one Sunshine Fyfe's time spent trying to keep her children safe after she unknowingly puts herself in danger by stopping to help a woman that was hit. Throw in the supernatural bits and the connection to the woman's brother, Luca Amorosi, and you have a story that keeps you gripped with bated breath to find out just how far things have to go wrong before they go right!!

March 26, 2017Great Read
This was a great read... the book had a few minor errors in it that unless you are s totally enthusiasts about certain things you wouldn't even notice. But story line was great. The characters development was nice and I love the high pace and interaction. Was recommending it to others to read before I even finished.

March 28, 2017Black Moon Rising was a thrilling read. I loved this book and it kept me guessing non stop. It was definitely a fast paced read and I highly recommend it if you love a thriller. I could not put this book down and can't wait to read more from this author.
Sunny is getting over the loss of her husband while trying to raise her two children. When she goes on a business trip, she starts having visions of an injured bicyclist and how she is going to help her most of which have disturbing endings. When she does run into this event in real life, she knows what she must do, but she doesn't know how upside down it's going to turn her life.

April 18, 2017Wow! What an amazing read. I really enjoyed Black Moon Rising by Ann Simas. At first I wasn't sure it was going to be a book I loved due to some of the subject matter...but I was quickly drawn into the story and it didn't let me go until the last page. I liked the characters and how well they played off each other. I liked that Sunny was a person that took action. She didn't just sit around and let things happen. She wasn't afraid to do what it took to keep her children, family, and friends safe. I liked Luca too. He was a strong character. I liked that he was a strong support in Sunny's life once they got over the misunderstanding in the beginning. I saw growth in both the main characters throughout the book. I liked the secondary characters too. Of course there were the ones you love to hate as well. Some of them were really detestable. I would highly recommend Black Moon Rising to anyone who likes romance thrillers. Though I would say it isn't for everyone due to the subject matter.

April 27, 2017Not sure how I feel!
I have to say I am on the fence about this book. It was slow to start picked up a bit then slowed down again. I liked the chat but the story line was a bit to much for me. Sunny lost her Navy SEAL husband and since has been raising their two children alone but with help from her older sister Libby and her parents. When she experiences visions over the course of a week of her death along with a young girl hurt on the side of the road she knows what to expect on the day it happens when she stops to help her she is accused of being the one who hit her and she is being charged with hit and run. From there things go from terrible to horrific. I really don't want to say anymore and give away the story.
