His short film “Akner” was selected by XXVII Moscow IFF 2005, for the section Perspectives. He got the Best Director Award twice at the “Yes em” IFF of Young Filmmakers in Yerevan, in 2004 and 2005. Aram Shahbazyan is known for Moskvich, My Love (2015), Chnchik (2020) and The Path of Our Dream (2017).
